How to Get a Garden

Did you always want to have a garden but never had access to land? You can realize your dreams by joining the New Paltz Gardens for Nutrition, one of the oldest, continuous, community gardens in New York, and possibly the most congenial.

Membership in the NPGFN community is requested via an application that normally is submitted in February or March. Please download an applicaion from the link to the right.

For further information contact gardensfornutrition@yahoo.com.

The garden plots typically are 20x30 feet, with some half plots that are 20x15. Please note that there is a slight increase in membership fees. The annual NPGFN membership fee per plot for the 2012 gardening year now is:

     Full Plot: f20x30        $40.00
     Half Plot: 20x15        $25.00

     Seniors (62+)           $25.00

The membership fee also covers the use of gardening tools, such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, lawn mowers, and watering cans, as well as water.
